  • Developmental Editing: A substantive editorial letter containing suggestions regarding overall content, characterization, plot, genre conventions, organization, narrative structure, and pacing in addition to select in-line comments to elucidate the reader’s experience of your work, plus a 30-minute Zoom consultation. $35/hour

  • Copy Editing: Detailed feedback on style, clarity, word-choice, concision, grammar, and mechanics of your work, plus a 30-minute Zoom consultation. $35/hour

  • Combined Developmental and Copy Editing: The above services together, including one 30-minute Zoom consultation, for the reduced rate of $50/hour.

  • A 10-page sample drawn from the project;

  • The word count (estimated if necessary) of the project;

  • A message indicating what your goals are for the project, what kind of editorial feedback you would find most helpful to receive, and if there are time constraints on the project.

I will do a free sample edit of your 10 pages so that you can decide if the feedback will be helpful to you. I will also provide you with a quote for how much the project would cost and the time it would likely take.
